This year, our Holiday giving looked a little different, as many things have during 2020. Rather than having our employees volunteer and participate in person, we were able to serve and donate from a distance. A few organizations sent back photos of them receiving their deliveries and so we wanted to share those along with a list of the many great local organizations we were able to help this Holiday season!

SALT LAKE CITY – Walker Edison, a leading provider of RTA furniture, recently donated 50,000 masks to Jordan Education Foundation (JEF).
JEF is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that engages the community to provide resources to enhance educational experiences, strengthen students, and fuel success in Jordan School District. According to their website, JEF supports over 56,000 students who attend 63 schools in the rapidly growing cities of West Jordan, South Jordan, Riverton, Bluffdale, Herriman, and Copperton. It is led by a volunteer Board of Directors and a full-time Executive Director, Steven Hall. Students in Utah’s Jordan School District currently attend in-person classes four days a week, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, so many students are in need of a mask. The donated masks are high quality, reusable, and adjustable. 45,000 are kid sized, and the remaining 5,000 are adult sized. Walker Edison lists “We Give” as their number one core value and strives to give back to their local community whenever possible. They are grateful to be able to support the students and teachers in their local area through JEF. You can read the story from The Jordan School District here. |
