WALKER EDISON’S VP OF SALES NAMED AS SALES PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR

​SALT LAKE CITY – Lance Ferguson, Senior VP of Sales at Walker Edison, was named a Sales Professional of the Year by Utah Business for 2020.
 
Utah Business states: “Without our sales and marketing teams, our businesses wouldn’t even get off the ground. This is why we take the time each year to celebrate those individuals that go above and beyond to, not only make our year a success, but to share the company’s vision with the world.”
 
Lance has been in sales for over 20 years, ten of which have been at Walker Edison where he is currently the Senior VP of Sales. He is responsible for leading a team of 30+ people and pushing the company’s growth. Walker Edison is one of Utah’s fastest growing companies, with an impressive 70% year-over-year growth rate and acknowledges Lance’s remarkable impact on their business.
 
Concerning work in sales, Lance Ferguson notes, “One of the greatest things I’ve been able to teach is that sales is, at its core, learning what someone needs. It’s about taking the time to get to know people or businesses and then bringing them the missing piece. Figure out who you’re working with and then find a way to fulfill their need. Become the solution to their problem.”
